Our little street features a number of useful amenities, if you do not wish to travel far. These include a very nice wine bar, and typical corner shop for newspapers, candy, cigarettes, etc. Just around the corner is the best fish and chips shop in London, and other assorted shops and cafes where you can get a quick lunch or late-night dinner. Also close by are several pubs including the 'Orange' where their own local Real Ales are actually brewed on the premises - one to try is the very nice Porter. There are also a some antiques and dress shops, if you fancy spending lots of money. And if you fancy a walk, in the immediate area there are some lovely garden squares with pretty period buildings. You could even make the short walk to Buckingham Palace and St Jame's Park to the east, or stroll up to SLoane Square, Knightsbridge and Hyde Park to the north-west.
